Have you heard about Low Dose Naltrexone?

Do you suffer from immune related diseases; general auto-immune,

Fibromyalgia, Chronic Pain, Depression,  or Restless Leg Syndrome?

LDN is used as a regulator of the immune system providing relief to people with general auto-immune diseases.

LDN potentially improves the abnormal inflammation and immune dysfunction seen with many diseases, thus improving the reduced T3 levels seen with stress, depression, weight gain, chronic fatigue, and fibromyalgia.

Endorphins produced naturally in the body keep cellular growth under control.

Opioid growth factor (OGF) is produced by every cell in the body.

OGF bind to special receptors called opioid growth factor receptor or (OGFR).

OGFR is present on every cell.  If OGF is not produced or does not bind to the cell, the immune system will not work correctly.

Naltrexone is an opiate antagonist.  It is used to block the receptors during an opiate cessation program.

Low Dose Naltrexone is compounded into a lower strength medication which blocks the receptors for a few hours, and after it is metabolized, the body can take advantage of the rebound effect.

During the rebound effect the cells create more OGF receptors, the receptors increase in sensitivity, and the body produces more OGF (endogenous opioids or endorphins)

An increase in endorphins promotes healing, inhibits cell growth, and reduces inflammation.

The recommended dosage for patients is 1.5 mg once a day, increasing to 3.0 mg, and maintaining 4.5 mg daily.

LDN capsules should be compounded in an accredited compounding facility using the purest chemical of Naltrexone and fillers such as acidophilus.

Patients see relief for less than $1.00 per day.  Ask your doctor to prescribe LDN through McMahan Pharmacy and you may qualify for the first month on us!
